It was first day of Chinese New Year and this year, instead of having home-cooked meals we decided to eat out at a restaurant. My favourite Thai Restaurant Sabai Dee Cafe was closed for Chinese New Year. Hence, we ended up at Restaurant Lima Utara. We reached there around 6pm and only a few tables were occupied.

We ordered 6 dishes and total bill came to roughly RM 229 which was pretty expensive for me. My favourite dish of the night were the steamed clam with Thai sauce and Thai style steamed fish. Both dishes were spicy and sour. An appetizing dish for everyone. However, soft shell crab and clay pot tofu tasted a bit bland for me. Apart from that, deep fried catfish was crispy but lacking flavour. My partner likes their Kung po mantis shrimp but I find it so-so.

 As of now, Sabai Dee Cafe still my preferred Thai Restaurant in Jitra...

Jollibee is a Filipino multinational chain of fast food restaurants. On the day of arrival, we asked our friendly Grab driver what is the must-try food in Philippines and he mentioned Jollibee. So here we at Jollibee located inside Landmark Department Store just 4 minutes (250m) walking distance from  New World Makati Hotel . We ordered 2 pieces of chicken served with rice and drink. Rice is soft. Fried chicken is crispy, flavourful and tender. It comes together with a brown gravy which taste like KFC mashed potatoes gravy. Overall it's good. Hounon Ridge Farmstay & Camping - Kundasang, Sabah

Hounon Ridge Farmstay is located at Kampung Himbaan Bundu Tuhan, 36 minutes drive from Kundasang town. The road heading to Bundu Tuhan is very steep and narrow. There's no street light and driving at night can be hazardous if you are not familiar with the road condition. Be particularly alert when driving and watch out for cows, chickens and stray dogs on the side of the road. There's 4 types of room available. If you are the adventurous type and not afraid of cold, you can even camp outside Hounon Ridge Farmstay. Room type: a) Standard quad room b) Standard double room without balcony c) Standard double room with balcony d) Dormitory - 10 person e) Camping We stayed in a standard double room without balcony. Our room was on the 1st floor overlooking Mount Kinabalu. Great view and you can slide the glass window to get some fresh air.
